
Dr. Hurless has been providing foot and ankle care for the Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village area since 1999. Dr. Hurless graduated with honors from the California College of Podiatric Medicine and then completed a three-year residency program specializing in podiatric medicine and foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Hurless is board certified and a diplomat in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is also a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Hurless has a beautiful seven-exam room office located on the Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital (TOSH) campus in Thousand Oaks, CA. Dr. Hurless is an active staff member at Los Robles Hospital, TOSH and Specialty Surgical Center in Westlake Village. Dr. Hurless serves as a member of the Joint Operations Committee and Quality Control Committee for Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital. Due to Dr. Hurless’s love of exercise and sports, his practice has evolved into a sports medicine focused practice. He treats all levels of athletes from professional to peewee. Dr. Hurless also treats many runners from the weekend jogger to marathoners and Iron Man participants. Dr. Hurless has kept many athletes and runners going with his custom foot orthotics. Dr. Hurless loves helping his patients achieve their goals with the help of his orthotics. Dr. Hurless has been dispensing his prescription orthotics for 15 years and has kept thousands of feet out of the operating room. Dr. Hurless makes orthotics taking into consideration the patients body weight, shoe type, activity level, gait and medical diagnosis. Of course, Dr. Hurless also treats all foot and ankle trauma, foot fractures, broken toes, ankle sprains, infections, ingrown toenails, warts, moles, skin cancer of the foot, diabetes, bunions, hammertoes and arthritis.
